1. Service Agreement
By booking a collection with Scrap Metal Services, you agree to these terms. Our service is free for household scrap metal and eWaste collection only.
2. Acceptable Items
We only collect items listed on our "What We Collect" page. Items containing lithium batteries, gas bottles, glass, mattresses, or hazardous materials will not be collected and may result in missed pickup.
3. Preparation Requirements
You must: (a) Empty all appliances, (b) Remove lithium batteries, (c) Separate gas bottles from BBQs, (d) Place items kerbside by evening before collection day.
4. Collection Schedule
Collection times are estimates only. We aim to collect within the scheduled date but cannot guarantee specific time windows. Items must be accessible from the kerbside.
5. Liability
Scrap Metal Services and Australian Metal Recycling are not liable for any damage to property during collection if items are placed incorrectly or contain hazardous materials.
6. Service Area
Service is limited to specified NSW regions. We reserve the right to decline collection if your location is outside our service area.
7. Cancellations
You may cancel your booking at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule collections due to weather, vehicle issues, or other circumstances.
